Well, I was busy doing my school stuffs. I could not really put any time for updating.

So what is it about in this post? Yeah, here is a sketch of Horo Horo from The Shaman King. Cool, isn't he? During my high school, I was still able to put some times for drawing, and this is one of my favorite collection. I just had the chance to scan the sketches at school so that I can store them in a safe way, digital way. By the way, I am never able to allocate time to draw again these times. Besides, I feel like I no longer have the ability to draw, lol. It's hard, my hands shake terribly now haha :D.

Daydreaming

Well, who doesn't want a supercar like one above?! Yup, today I am posting a photograph that I took in front of my friend's house. I kinda like it, so I post it here. Photo was taken using my friend's camera, Fujifilm Finepix S9500. It's a nice camera, and by the way, I can't wait to get my own camera ^^.

The Flying Bike

Sorry for being inactive for all these times. I am very busy that I have no time to update. Yup, so this is another post of artwork. This is a picture that I edited in the Multimedia Application class today. Not much, just a common photo montage.

Putting the bike onto the underlying image was somehow not easy. Because, the original picture is slightly in a different pose. Therefore, I had to do some transformations: skew it, scale it here and there. That's why it might not look realistic ^^. To give a little dramatic feeling, I applied motion blur to the bike so that the motion is a bit captured.

Well, I think that's all. Not a very special image. At least this new post will indicate that I'm still gonna keep this blog active. Thanks for viewing ^^.

The Experiment - 02

This is a photograph I took when my friend and I were going out for photo hunting in Samajaya Sarawak Forestry. Just another experiment with photographs. So I was inspired by my photographer fellow when composing these images. The idea is showing the photograph that the guy was taking. The flower image was desaturated to present it in B&W. Then, I restored the flower's and the leaf's color to emphasize more into the object. It was my consideration, but I don't know if it does emphasize the object, lol ^^.

While putting them into the black background, I was experimenting to make the picture looks prettier or more artistic (^^). After going through some trials and errors, then I came up with this. Trying to blend the guy's image with the background, I applied some 'Pixelate' filter onto it. Then, I duplicated the image and put the mirrored picture next to it. I applied a Gaussian Blur onto that and set the transparency lower to give a fading-out effect.

So, that's it! Oh yeah, photographs were taken by Nico. Thanks to him.

Tracing WannaBe

I was trying to make something like vector artwork, like those beautiful artwork we usually see in ads. So what I did was using the 'Threshold' feature and then filling in a solid color to the selection. I emphasized the details by using smaller Threshold value and filled that with darker color. I was thinking to make it looks catchier, so I added up a set of circles, just like a dart board.

Then... voila! Looks so plain ^^, and this definitely does not look as beautiful as those ads' artwork! Yeah, I just wanted to keep it so I posted this picture here.
